Raised in the Canadian Rockies as the daughter of a Park Warden, Kylea moved to the West Coast to become a dental assistant and graduated as a CDA in 1999 from the University of Fraser Valley. After practicing assisting for several years, she returned to school to complete her Registered Dental Hygienist program in 2008 from VCC. In 2009 she was a founding member in the Vancouver Dental Hygienist study club and has continued to act as the president since its inception.
When Kylea is not in practice, she is a mom to two girls and wife to a pilot. Their family loves the outdoors, travelling, scuba diving, hiking, and hanging with their cat.
